Hi, I'm Marnie (marniewebb-ts) 👋

I believe in the promise of public libraries, public education, and public transportation.

I am currently experimenting with Vibe Coding projects and thinking a lot about portable context files. I’m documenting the process of both along the way as I explore how AI changes the way we build, think, and share.

  • Informaion Triage Toolkit: Research → Capture → Synthesize → Share. A toolkit of small tools and local-first AI for managing information your way.
  • Local Research Bot: A local-first research assistant that processes task queues in Obsidian using Ollama and Gemma to automate background research directly within your notes.
  • Readwise to PDF Archiver: A local-first automation to bridge Readwise and Obsidian by archiving source articles as permanent PDFs. Vibe coded with Gemini CLI.
  • CrankIt: A focused Micro.blog utility for intentional, 280-character posting. This is my primary laboratory for vibe coding and Swift development.
  • CrankReview: Automated a review of my last seven days of blog posts to do a synthesis across them.
  • TurningPro: Advice for young people entering the workforce. It's the basics and then a little bit extra.
