Hi, I'm Nazareno! 👋

I'm a PhD in Mathematics specializing in Operations Research, with a focus on mathematical optimization, integer programming, and heuristic methods combined with strong foundations of Data Science. During my undergraduate years I picked up the interest in programming. Since then, I have been driven by a strong passion for developing my knowledge in the intersection of math and computer science.

I'm currently transitioning from academia to industry, where I aim to apply my experience in optimization techniques and data science to real-world decision-making problems such as logistics, scheduling, and resource allocation.

  • Implementation of the algorithm designed by E. Choi y D.-W. Tcha (2007) in "A column generation approach to the heterogeneous fleet vehicle routing problem" (doi). This is the final assignment for a post-graduate course that was part of my PhD. program., so the code is docummented in Spanish.
  • An algorithm I developed to find shortest paths with turn penalties and forbidden paths of three vertices. It is part of our work with D'Aloisio C. and Duran G. in “A solution approach to districting modification and route optimization in waste collection” (2025) Link to open article.
