F# FSI Architecture Question

Your extension looks promising. I have some questions about the architecture. From my understanding, it should work like this:

In FSI, it's necessary to register FSI printers that write HTML (or other files) to a directory that is then scanned by this extension. Can you explain how / in which way this process has to be done?

My plan is to release soon a companion package to help with FSI. Ionide FSharp.fsiExtraParameters setting is a good place to provide a script defining your most common formats.

Please note that this is still an experiment and nothing is set in stone. Any suggestion is more than welcomed. I am looking for inspiration from RStudio (that I have used for years) and from Jupyter (that I wish I don't have to use ;)

For now you can use something like the following, the file extensions watched are .svg, .html, .md and .txt
