Summary of their work
Miroslav has been Besu contributor since February 2025, with 100+ PRs across execution, sync, and the network layer, and regularly reviews other contributors' work. He implemented much of EIP-7928 (Block Access Lists) in Besu, including BAL construction, spec-test conformance, BAL-based parallel transaction execution, and parallel state-root computation. He also implemented snap/2 (EIP-8189) in Besu, including the world-state download pipeline, pivot catch-up, and reorg handling. Beyond this work, his contributions include performance optimizations, world-state internals, EVM correctness fixes, RPC improvements, reference test tooling, and PoA network fixes, as well as small contributions to go-ethereum, hive, execution-specs, and RocksDB.
