Summary

  • Kept file.new and file.open menu commands enabled when no active window exists (ctx.windows.active() === null), restoring macOS menu keyboard shortcuts (Cmd+N, Cmd+O) when all windows are closed.
  • Updated window/workspace creation and file opening in App.ts to handle opener === null gracefully by centering new workspace windows on the primary display.

Issue

Closes #490

Testing

  • pnpm --dir apps/desktop exec vitest run src/main/
  • Verified local desktop build on macOS: closed active window, pressed Cmd+N / Cmd+O and confirmed new workspace window / open file dialog opens as expected.
