docs(upstream): close the v1.6.1 sync and advance tracked parity - #285
Conversation
Every portable row of the v1.6.1 audit shipped in codegraph-rs v0.51.0, and the downloaded release passed checksum, attestation, fresh-index and v12-to-v17 migration checks. The ledger now tracks colby v1.6.1, starts the next discovery at the v1.6.1 tag, and records the owner-deferred UI family, the #770 and #1829/#1878 deferrals and the KEEP-RUST divergences. docs-check pins the new boundary and tracked release.

Preserve the dated audit snapshot
Restore the audit-time statement that parity was still awaiting release verification. Replacing it with the next day's outcome retroactively rewrites a dated audit, losing the distinction between what was known on September 30 and the October 1 closeout; that outcome is already recorded in the newly appended ledger entry. The repository explicitly treats dated audits as append-only evidence and requires present-day facts to go in the mutable Current alignment block plus a new dated entry.

Summary
Closes the colby
v1.6.1sync now that every ported row has shipped in codegraph-rsv0.51.0and the downloaded release has been verified.docs/upstream-sync/UPSTREAM.mdv1.6.0→v1.6.1. The last discovery audit is thev1.6.1tagf4ddf50; the previous boundary is the 2026-09-15 main audit3ed73bc; the next discovery starts atf4ddf508516332419ea3c95702810765936cf679..origin/main. The UI-epic bullet now records the owner's 2026-10-01 deferral of the viewer and F1–F12.1.6.0 → 1.6.1 sync: COMPLETEcallout with its exceptions: the UI family; #770; the #1829/#1878 fast path; the KEEP-RUST divergences the audit records row by row.docs/upstream-sync/V1_6_1_AUDIT_2026-09-30.md: the header's tracked-release line no longer says parity waits for the release.scripts/docs-check.py: pins the new next-discovery boundary and tracked release, so the ledger can't drift back.Every fact in the entry was checked against
