## Sync log

### 2026-10-02 — `v0.52.2` RELEASED: #295 shipped

Release-please PR [#296](https://github.com/sunerpy/codegraph-rust/pull/296)
merged as `36841bcd398ca0f9bd882a61075ef3a5708b957c` and cut tag `v0.52.2` at
that exact commit. Its implementation PR #295 merged as `ff52e5c`, from the
reviewed head `0d3a991` with an identical tree.

Release workflow run
[`36942112539`](https://github.com/sunerpy/codegraph-rust/actions/runs/36942112539)
passed all twelve jobs on its first attempt, over main CI run
[`36942112580`](https://github.com/sunerpy/codegraph-rust/actions/runs/36942112580).
The release was published at 2026-10-01T23:54:19Z UTC. The official
`codegraph-0.52.2-x86_64-unknown-linux-musl.tar.gz` digest is
`fc066b91ad587abd65cb602ccfde4b1a97b4d0dc5d97eff2813581638d25d62e`.

Black-box acceptance of the downloaded release, against the official
`v0.52.1`, follows the table the plan for #295 fixed in advance:

- `SHA256SUMS` and `gh attestation verify` passed for all six archives. The
binary reports `codegraph 0.52.2`, and its `.comment` section names rustc
1.98.0.
- **Zustand provenance:** `run` calls `fake.getState().reset()` on an
`otherFactory` store and `useStore.getState().reset()` on a `create` store.
Its call targets go from `fake::reset,useStore::reset` to `useStore::reset`.
- **Unknown receiver:** `pool.submit(self.store.fetch)` with an unannotated
`store` gives one reference edge into the only `Store::fetch` before and none
now.
- **`#if 1 || FLAG`:** the `HOOK` call edge, which a definitely visible macro
now suppresses, is gone.
- **Feature-flag default:** `#ifndef FEATURE` / `#define FEATURE` among other
code is no guard, so `use2` now calls the real `HOOK2`, where `v0.52.1` had
no edge.
- **Literal paren construction:** `L value(1)` beside
`L(std::initializer_list<int>)` now calls `L::L`, the `L(int)` definition;
`v0.52.1` declined.
- **Upgrade:** an index written by `v0.52.1` reads as `outdated`, because the
extraction version moved from 18 to 19. `sync` rebuilds it, and it then reads
`current`.
