PyFVCOM: a collection of tools to interact with FVCOM
A MATLAB toolbox for dealing with FVCOM
WeStCOMS is coupled coastal ocean/atmosphere operational forecasting hydrodynamic modelling system developed by D.A. in Scotland. Its based on FVCOM and WRF. https://www.sams.ac.uk/facilities/thredds/
R code supporting Lavender et al. (2022). Benthic animal-borne sensors and citizen science combine to validate ocean modelling. Scientific Reports, 12, 16613. https://doi.org/10.1038/s41598-022-20254-z
Fetch ocean and atmosphere data from five sources - Copernicus Marine, FVCOM, HYCOM, CCMP and NOAA ERDDAP - and join it to observations in space and time. Shared variable names, recorded provenance, resampling, gap filling, seafloor terrain, climate indices, and EML metadata for deposit.
The FVCOM data was provided by Mark Rowe (NOAA, LEOFS). The FVCOM model used to generate the output is described in (Rowe et al., 2019).
