Summary

Expands the org profile README from a three-line blurb into a real landing page: product framing, an at-a-glance table of all seven repos with current state, platform reach, and why Traverse matters for AI-era development.

Governing Spec

N/A — this repo carries no specs/. Org profile copy only; no governance rule, contract, runtime, or CI-gate change.

Project Item

Closes #15.

What Changed

  • Contracts changed: none
  • Runtime behavior changed: none
  • Compatibility impact: none
  • ADR needed or linked: no

Content:

  • Product headline aligned with traverse-framework.com and the traverse README ("define once, run anywhere"; agent proposes, runtime decides).
  • "The org at a glance" table covering all seven repos (traverse, registry, reference-apps, claude-skills, website, .github, repo-template) with real numbers: v0.10.0, 134 approved specs, 6 crates on crates.io, 46 registry capabilities across 24 domains (117 signed versions), reference apps on 7 targets.
  • Platform-reach paragraph: 5 embedder SDKs on one embedder-api/1.0.0 conformance suite; Rust + Web published, Swift/Kotlin/.NET in traverse/packages/.
  • "Why it matters" section.
  • Removed the inaccurate "cloud" target from the reference-apps description — cloud/edge are roadmap, matching the traverse README.
  • Governance section keeps the constitution / GOVERNANCE.md / CLA pointers.

Validation

  • Spec alignment checked (no specs in this repo)
  • Contract alignment checked (no contracts touched)
  • Tests updated and passing (docs only)
  • Core coverage preserved (n/a)
  • Required validation gates passing — governance-baseline, cla (pending CI)
  • CLA accepted

Notes

Targets bootstrap-governance (the repo's default branch). Every number is grounded in the live repos / registry catalog as of v0.10.0.

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

The org profile was a thin three-line blurb listing five repos. Expand it to
represent the project: product framing ("define once, run anywhere" / agent
proposes, runtime decides), an at-a-glance table of all seven repos with real
state (v0.10.0, 134 specs, 6 crates on crates.io, 46 registry capabilities
across 24 domains, reference apps on 7 targets), the platform reach (5 embedder
SDKs), and why it matters for AI-era development. Drops the inaccurate "cloud"
target claim (cloud/edge are roadmap, matching the traverse README).
