My library account : login

If I'm logged into the BL@H site when I go to "My library account", can't I avoid logging in again? In other words, can single sign-on be made to work?

Unlikely given the limitations that Millennium has on single sign on. However, if Blacklight can acquire the user's campus username and password it may be able to pass these through (in the same way the portal does).
