Backend developer with two years in NAS and filesystems, plus work on trading systems. Interested in storage and streaming, especially disks, crash recovery, and file semantics. Currently reading Apache Iggy’s persistence and connectors code.

Using

  • utips — notes and todos; maintained and used daily since Apr 2025.
  • ebook — self-hosted EPUB/PDF; used weekly since Apr 2026.

Tried

  • vex — small in-memory vector store in Go; snapshots, but no distribution. An experiment, not a product.
  • DataFusion — explored for a few months; too mature for me to find a contribution foothold as an outsider.
