I build practical, scalable software products with a focus on clean engineering, good user experiences, and solving real-world problems.
I'm Ravindra Valand, a Full Stack Software Engineer from Gujarat, India. I enjoy taking an idea from an early concept to a working product — designing the architecture, building the backend and frontend, integrating services, and making sure the final experience is reliable and maintainable.
My work spans web applications, APIs, mobile applications, desktop software, and product-focused internal systems. I value clarity, ownership, continuous learning, and building things that are genuinely useful.
- 💻 Full Stack application development
- 🧩 API design, backend architecture, and database modelling
- 🎨 Modern web interfaces and responsive experiences
- 📱 Mobile and cross-platform application development
- 🚀 Product development from idea to deployment
- 🤝 Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
Here are a few public projects that represent different areas of my engineering work:
| Project | Description |
|---|---|
| HRMS API | Backend services for an HR management platform. |
| HRMS App | Web application for the HRMS platform. |
| NestJS E-commerce API | E-commerce backend with integrations and business workflows. |
| NestJS School Management API | Backend services for managing students, attendance, and academic workflows. |
| VSMM World Website | Personal technology and professional web presence. |
Some of my larger projects, including Anusutra, RV, and Port Glint, are private repositories or product work, so their source code is not publicly available.
Understand the problem → design the solution → build with purpose → test → improve.
I believe good software is more than code that works. It should be understandable, maintainable, secure, and capable of evolving as the product grows.
I also enjoy exploring new technologies when they solve a real problem — rather than using technology simply because it is new.
Technology is one part of what I enjoy. I'm also interested in product building, innovation, learning, personal development, and exploring ideas across technology and spirituality.
The long-term goal is simple: keep learning, keep building, and create work that has real value.
I'm open to interesting projects, collaborations, and conversations around software, product development, and new ideas.
