Why is windows 10 reporting this one as a Trojan ?

I tried to download the exe file but Windows Defender (virus and threat detector thingy) is continuously preventing the download by reporting the file to be a Trojan.

How to cure this one ?

Hello,
Windows detecting it as a trojan is to be expected, as the program has behaviours such as checking processes, terminating processes and communication directly with Windows. Since it's not a signed app, Windows Defender assumes it is a virus.

There are a few ways you can solve this.

• You can add an exception in Windows Defender here.
• You can compile the code yourself

If the download itself is being prevented, you can temporarily disable windows defender, and re-enable it after the download is complete. (However, I don't really recommend you disable it.)
