CSV Export

CSV stands for Comma-Separated Values.

The exported file can be opened with common spreadsheet and data-management applications, including:

• Microsoft Excel
• LibreOffice Calc
• Google Sheets
• Other applications capable of reading CSV files

The export is intended to provide a portable copy of the locally captured contact records without requiring an internet connection.

Recommended Event Procedure

At the conclusion of an event:

1. Check the stored contact count.
2. Export the records to USB.
3. Verify the exported CSV.
4. Transfer or back up the file according to CTG procedures.
5. Clear the kiosk records only after the export is confirmed.

Important

Do not clear contact records before verifying the export.

The kiosk’s local copy should be treated as the authoritative copy until the CSV has been successfully transferred and confirmed.
